My name is Geoff Walker and I live in Middlesbrough, UK. I work as a lecturer in Food Science at Teesside
University.
I have a first degree in Chemical Engineering which I taught at Teesside for a number of years. I have always had an interest in the teaching and learning aspect of my job and I have a Masters Degree in Education
More recently I took a Masters Degree in Food Science which is what I teach now with a focus on Food Technology and Food Safety.
This site contains teaching materials for the various subjects which I currently and have previously taught.
There are also materials which reflect my personal interests on my personal website.

This site is currently being developed to work more effectively with modern browsers using HTML 4 and Cascading Style Sheets.
The main pages are being brought up to date and other pages will be brought up to these standards as the need arises. The main pages were developed at a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 and have been tested in Mozilla 1.6, Opera 7 & IE6 browsers running in Windows XP.
